the scarf swap

I have been borderline obsessive about doing one of these festive little parties - an exchange of one of my favorite accessories.  Scarves are a favorite way to dress up a simple outfit-I have such an affinity for them, I am planning my next pinterest-esque project on scarf organizing.

The leaves are golden and red, the heater is on, and coffee is being rewarmed for the third time today: it's time.

Please do not sign up unless you are completely committed to taking the time to pick out something nice and have it shipped - it's not fair to other participants.  I know things come up - should something happen, please be in communication with me.

You will have until October 6th to email me with the following information: your name, your twitter and/or blog address, and your mailing address.  If you don't have a blog or twitter that has regular updates, I must know you personally or have some connection to ensure that all participants are receiving a scarf.

After I have received emails of all participants, I will randomly select a person for you to send a scarf to - at the end of the month, we will have a reveal party where you can link up posts about the scarf you sent and the scarf you received.  (This is not required!)

{guidelines}

The scarf you choose should be a new scarf - I will leave it at your discretion, but recommend $20.  You can spend more, you can spend less, so long as it's new.  Dress it up however you like - fun wrapping, a sweet card, homemade goodies, or far more simple if you choose.

Your scarf must be postmarked by the 20th of October - as stated previously, if you cannot meet this deadline due to unforeseen circumstances, please communicate with me.

When you receive the name of the person you will be mailing to, feel free to gather information about them on their blog or twitter accounts--favorite colors, styles, and looks.
