before & after.

One of my favorite things when I was pregnant with both girls was not finding out their gender.  And since we didn't find out, that meant getting creative with nursery decor.

I chose to redo the nursery before Eisley because I was ready for something new and because well...I have a knack for taking on way more than I should and it seemed like a good idea to add it to my plate.

The nursery before was a fun green color with safari animals throughout, and when Ruby was born, she brought lots of pink with her so pink accents were a natural addition.

This was already starting to transform as you can tell by all of the things stuffed in the crib.

Bookshelf full of toys and books; room cluttered with Christmas gifts.

The new nursery look:

I designed the frames on the wall using my cricut and I love the way they came out.

I love how simple, and modern, and fun it is.  Grays, and reds, and blacks, and whites.

And two girls means two full closets.  Finding that armoire caused me many headaches, but I love the way it fits in the room, plus it's a nice closed off storage space.

I absolutely LOVE your nursery redo! I did my little Adelaide's room in gray too, even though I knew she was a girl. This way we can change up the accent colors through the years depending on her tastes.
