resurfacing

I thought I'd pop in here for a quick post, lest you think we didn't survive Vegas or that the plane we took was missing its right phalange. And if you don't watch Friends I apologize, because a) you won't understand that reference and b) well, you're missing out on an epic television series.

Upon returning home, we were thrust back into real life at full speed, because that's the way things tend to be after vacation. I'm having a hard time adjusting back into reality with the suitcases (empty) still in my laundry room serving as cold, hard evidence.

If I didn't know better, I would probably place a decent bet telling you I was pregnant because I could sleep 23.5 hours a day and still be tired. Well, and because I just came from the capital of gambling, so I'm sort of still in that mood. However, baby number two is definitely not in tow, and instead I am just catching up on the lack of sleep on vacation.

So because real life has gotten in the way and impeded my process of blogging every stinkin' detail of vacation, you will have to stay tuned and resurface for the recap. And you can be sure that pictures will be present.

And as a completely random sidenote, is it strange that all of a sudden I have become obsessed with birthday party things for Ruby? It's like eight months was the magic switch in which mama goes into a crazed frenzy trying to pick things out for a party. It's more of a problem that I can't decide the theme, style, or overall atmostphere of said party. Also, I'm thinking of throwing her a surprise party-she has no idea.
